Conducting Vigil

Jen Venegas, a compassionate death doula, conducts vigil services with a focus on honoring and fulfilling the dying person's wishes and requests. Providing serene and supportive companionship, Jen ensures that each vigil is tailored to create a tranquil and reflective environment. Jen's approach emphasizes respect and empathy, aiming to support the individual's journey with dignity and compassion during this meaningful time. The vigil typically will be conducted during the active dying period (can occur between 10-14 days but typically occurs during the last 3-5 days and is determined by various medical signs that the dying person displays) and before imminent death (typically occurs minutes to an hour before death).
